A holiday in the middle of the African bush is an experience that will certainly make long-lasting memories. Not only because of all the luxury and comforts that our villa offers, but also because of the unique location. On this page you can find our rates and other relevant information.

Our villa can accommodate 6 people and offers 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms. The spacious living room, kitchen and terraces ensure that you will not get in each other's way during your holiday. We offer a reduced rate for an occupancy rate of four people or less.

We cooperate with a dedicated host and hostess who greets our guests, is ready to answer questions and takes care of the house and pool.

Linen

Your beds are made. There are plenty of fresh towels and large beach towels provided.

Cleaning

Mid-week and final cleaning service of the villa and pool. An additional cleaning can take place at an additional cost.

Costs for the consumption of electricity, water as well as local taxes are included.

Basic utilities

Basic utilities in the kitchen and bathroom (such as salt and pepper toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, etc.) are available.

No hidden costs:  We like to keep things simple and do not charge any additional taxes, administrative cost, seasonal surcharge or deposit.

Occupancy:  Villa Tall Horse offers space for a maximum of 6 persons.

Minimum rental period: 7 nights. Due to the rules of the Estate we cannot accept shorter stays.

Times: Check out 10:00 uur / Check in 15:00 uur

Long-term rental or hibernating: Ask for the possibilities and a tailor-made rate for a rental period of longer than three weeks.

Be aware: The villa is located on a private wildlife park with roaming animals. Living in the bush is a great experience but you have to follow the basic rules for everyone's safety:

– It is forbidden to feed the animals.

– Always close windows and doors when you go out to keep the animals outside.

– Do not drive faster than 30 km/h on the estate and animals always have priority!

- Smoking is not allowed in the villa. It is allowed on the terrace and in the garden, but be extra careful with fire because of the fire hazard.

Environment  Our aim is to operate Villa Tall Horse in an energy-neutral manner using solar panels. That is why we deliberately do not use gas. Cooking is therefore also electric.

Please note that the power supply is periodically less stable in Hoedspruit. There are regular power cuts in some periods. However, we can largely absorb this with our batteries. In addition, all basic amenities such as refrigerator, lighting and Wi-Fi are available during power cuts.

The electricity consumption is considerably higher if the air conditioners are left running unnecessarily. Turn on the air conditioning just half an hour before going to sleep, will be sufficient and will help a lot to reduce the energy consumption. Water is also a scarce commodity, so use it wisely.

Child friendly:
Children are welcome in Villa Tall Horse. There are some toys and swimming aid rings available. An extra cot can also be placed on request.

Keep in mind that the power supply in Hoedspruit is periodically less reliable. In some periods there are regular power outages that we can partially mitigate this with our batteries and solar panels. Electricity consumption is considerably higher if the air conditioners are left running unnecessarily. Our advice is to only turn on the air conditioning half an hour before going to sleep. Water is also a scarce resource. Use it wisely.
